Special Characteristics
This is a clever little dog that loves to be around their family all the time. These dogs are described as being very loving and affectionate.
Exercise Requirements
These small dogs have medium exercise requirements and will be happy and content with 2 short walks each day and a good active play at home.
Attitude Towards:
Owners: Are loyal, warm and affectionate towards their owners.
Children: Are usually good around children, even more so if raised with them.
Other Pets: They have a high prey drive and may chase small animals, have been known to get along with cats.
Strangers: Will be a little distant around strangers.
Other Unfamiliar Dogs: Can be friendly towards other dogs, they need to be well socialised from an early age.
What to Watch Out For
Might chase cats and other small animals. Over care of their skin could lead to skin problems, a bath once a month is enough. Being hairless, they will need to wear sun block when outside in strong sunny weather conditions.

There are no known health risks with this small dog breed.
Ideal Owner
The ideal owner needs to be affectionate and caring. This dog is considered to be low maintenance, however you do need to look after the dog correctly in certain weather conditions. If it is cold wrap them up well, when it is sunny cover them with sun cream.
