Parson Russell Terrier

The Parson Russell Terrier rough and smooth is the show cousin of the Jack Russell Terrier and is known to be lively, active and curious.

These little dogs are extroverts and are rather easily aroused and very unlikely to back down when challenged, need to watch them when socialising with children.

These dogs are known for being feisty and getting aroused rather easily. You can describe these small dogs as being bold, friendly, tenacious and courageous with lots of spirit.

Exercise Requirements

These small dogs have high exercise requirements and need plenty of exercise to burn off their large amounts of energy. Two really good walks each day is needed with this breed.

Attitude Towards:

Owners: Are loyal towards their owners and will show them lots of affection.

Children: Usually good around children if raised with them.

Other Pets: They have high prey and chase instincts and will therefore cause harm to small pets and may injure cats unless raised with them.
