These dogs love company and enjoy being around people, they are always alert and looking to play. They are described as being reliable, biddable, inquisitive, eager and persistent.
Exercise Requirements
These little dogs have medium exercise requirements, being busy at home and outside. Two good walks each day will keep them happy and content.

What to Watch Out For
Like I have said earlier, these small dogs love to bark and will bark excessively. If you have thin walls then this is probably not the best dog breed for you.
Health Risks
A lot to mention here including; juvenile cataracts, progressive retinal atrophy, Legg-Calve-Perthes, epilepsy, pancreatitis, hypothyroidism, bleeding disorders and dental problems.

The perfect owner of the Miniature Schnauzer should be confident and active who enjoys and has the time for lots of play, training and above all grooming.
